It's my turn! :)

More new toys are on the way to my house! :) Hubby bought us a new TV at the store yesterday, a 26" flat panel HD-TV, and since he got that and the 360 (we're sharing the 360, but it was bought mainly for him ;) ), he ordered me a new computer! Woo hoo! I'm super excited, it's going to put my old one to shame. The only thing I'm NOT looking forward to is installing WoW on my new one.. with all the updates and patches there have been, not to mention the expansion, it's going to take a long time to update! It will be worth it though, I just know it. It's coming with Windows Vista though, and that makes me a little nervous. I haven't heard the best of things about it, and that a lot of people are uninstalling it in favor of an older version of Windows. If you have any advice about it, please let me know! :)

When I bought my XP, it was the only thing that was offered at the time and it was considered the "new" one. I never had any trouble with it and the only thing bad I've really heard is from people who tried to install it on an existing pc. I'm pretty sure Vista will be the same way.

How very exciting for both of you!!!!

New computers are the best! I got two of them earlier this year.

I'll be sending you off your five questions as soon as I can think of them so hopefully they'll be enroute to an email box near you soon!

Yay for you!!!
I have Vista on my new laptop. The only problem I've come across is that if you have older programs (like me with my Kodak program for my camera) then you'll have to go to the manufacturers website and download patches. But, as far as the program itself it is fine, well it has been for me so far.
Best of luck!

It does take forever to load WOW, but you are right it is worth it.

you'll love it. At work we got a new system with vista you can do it. It just takes a little patience. Most people hate using and learning new things until they understand them. I think you know what I mean.
