Finally feeling better!

Just in time to vote today :)
I'm not going to say who I decided to vote for. I know things are pretty heated out there over who is going to be President after today, and I would rather not deal with a comment section full of "OMG why are you voting for HIM??????" It should be enough that I'm going to vote this year, when I haven't since I was 18. Apparently I'm not the only one who feels that way either, as I read this morning that voter turnout is up something like 7% already this year, and polling places are worried that they might not be able to handle the extra traffic.
Personally, that's one of the most stupid things I've ever read. Every election year we have people pushing for everyone to get registered and vote, and now that people actually are doing that.. they'll have trouble voting because the polling places aren't set up to handle the extra traffic.
But anyway.. I'm going to vote, so long as I get out of work in time to do so. My polling place is open until 8PM, so I should be good there :) And I'll hope that the line isn't too long when I finally get there.
I also want to take a minute to say thank you again to my wonderful hubby, who took care of me so well over the weekend while I was sick. He bought me lots of little treats and made sure I got a lot of rest, which I really needed. So thank you honey, I love you! <3

Good to know that you are feeling better!

I went to vote a little while ago after I got out of work at Job #2. I had to wait about 30 minutes which wasn't bad but the parking lot was a major mess!

Oh well, it could've been worse, right??

I'm glad you are feeling better! And that you will get out of work on time to cast your vote. I'm with you on the not wanting people to jump all over you for voting for someone they aren't. It's getting a little old-but thankfully after tomorrow it'll be all over, no matter who wins.

And I live in Boston-I had to park a few blocks away from my polling location-deal with it people! Cast those votes!!

Big hugs-hopefully you'll be 100% well soon.

I've posted a couple times about the election (just did again in fact) and I try to say things in a way that won't start a debate in the comment section. Of course there is always the chance that will happen.
