Well that's a load off!

My MIND, people. Geez.

I got ten votes on my little poll yesterday, and over half of you said that you're happy reading whatever I write, so between that and the conversations I had on Twitter yesterday, y'all are stuck with me and one blog only. To those who voted otherwise, sorry! I'll do my best to start tagging things, and maybe get a tag cloud until I can reorganize my link lists. I want to do that ASAP, but with only one day weekends from now until at least mid-June, it's only at about the middle of my priority list. I will get it done eventually, I promise! I especially want to set up links for all of the WoW bloggers that I'm reading. You guys are awesome. AND I want to get a new template, or at least a new header image. I made this one myself with Paint, and I know it's crap.

In other news...

I sassed someone in my guild on our forums last night. She hasn't responded yet, I don't know if she will or not. But I don't like her anyway. I put a link up to Bellwether's awesome Thank You post on the main WoW forums, because I thought it was a really nice gesture, and I wanted to share it. She responds with this: "shouldn't she say thank you blizz, because they're the ones who came up with all of those forms and roles and everything".

My response: "Yes, you're right. And damn her for not being properly appreciative of things". Like I said, I don't really like this girl. She's a big prima donna, and her attitude has ticked me off on more than one occasion. So this time I said something.

Hubby and I made new characters on a PvP realm last night. He has a Belf Pally, and I have a Belf lock. I started over three times after finishing my imp quest, to get one with a decent name. The one I stuck with is named Peppip, which I think is pretty cute! We got to about level 7 before I got too tired and had to go to bed. He almost made a hunter, which would have been pretty funny, since his main is a lock, and my main is a hunter.

That's about all for now.. hope everyone is having a nice weekend while I'm stuck here at work! ;)

I Pee Vee Peed, lol (WoW post)

Last night was supposed to be guild Kara night. But very few people signed up, and several of them didn't show. Hubby was sick, and I didn't really want to go if my GM wasn't going to go, because he's got that place down to a science, and there are very few bumps in the road getting it done. Instead, he asked if anyone wanted to run Eye of the Storm, which is a battleground where players can fight other players. It's one of four types of battlegrounds that are available. But it was the daily, so he wanted to do that first. We got a few people together, and off we went. The first one.. was a mess, lol. I'd never been there before, so I had no idea what I was doing, other than shooting at anyone with a red name that came near me. We lost by a pretty big margin. The second one though, we dominated. I think at one point we had all of the bases tagged, and people were running flags like crazy. So that finished up the daily quest. After that we ran some Arathi Basin, which is my personal favorite. I only stayed for two runs of that, but we won both of 'em.

I don't PvP very often. Why? Because a lot of the people you run into in bg's are jerks. They go in there with a very elitist attitude, we're here to win, if you can't keep up, you're not worth our time. That happened with our first EoTS group. We didn't have a full group, so a few extra people dropped in from other servers. Like I said, we did terribad, and near the end people were making comments like, "so much for THIS premade". Hey, not everyone is super awesome at PvP, ok? I myself only have one actual piece of PvP gear, and it wasn't something I was going to put on, because I didn't think it would do that much good.

I just don't understand that attitude at all. Yelling at someone is not going to make them try harder, it's going to make them frustrated. BG's can be a hectic place, I understand, but assuming that just because someone is level 70 they've been doing PvP the whole time is stupid. The only time I ever PvP is if I'm bored, or if a group of people that I know is going. Every bg run is different, and that makes it interesting. And people I know are likely to be a lot more forgiving of me when I really don't know what I'm doing.

What about you guys? What do you like or not like about PvP?
