Good morning Blogland!

Sorry it's been so long since I posted something for you to actually read.. it's been a busy few days at our house. Hubby was hit on Saturday with a pretty bad toothache, which, by Sunday night, was bad enough that we ended up at the ER downtown, in hopes of getting him some medicine that would help with the pain a bit. They gave him some Vicodin, but it didn't really help. Neither of us got much sleep that night. Monday morning the dentist called and got him in right away, and by Monday afternoon the tooth was out, and he was in much better spirits. Then yesterday morning he went for a follow-up at the doctor.

I took all of Monday off, to take him to the dentist and stuff, and one of my coworkers ended up working a REALLY long day. So when I got in yesterday around 11:30, I had to let her go home, which meant I wasn't at my computer until I got home at 7:30. Then I barely had time to eat and say hi to the kids and grab some arrows and stuff before raid time. Today promises to be a much better day. My boss is off the rest of the week, but I can handle it. I'm taking tonight off from raiding, so I can do some family stuff, even if I get out late. So today, in between trying to get caught up on all the work that's piled up on my desk, I'll be reading through the posts in my reader.. all 191 of them!

Oh, and before I forget to mention it, I got to Revered with Wintersaber Trainers over the weekend! I'm on the home stretch now, baby.. still a good 10 hours or so of work to do, but I'm hoping by this time next week to have a Wordless Wednesday screenshot of Asara on her new kitty!

Pain Sucks,,

Gee, whenever I work late I never get to go early the next day... What a whiner she was... Geez

Well Callie, to be totally honest and fair, when I say "had" I mean I felt personally obligated.. I've worked those kinds of days, and that was my way of thanking her for putting up with it. She was just hoping to get to go at her normal time, and totally grateful that I let her go earlier.

I find that doing nice things like that periodically makes them much more willing to put up with the nastiness when it does happen :)

Glad hubby is feeling better. Why is it when you have a tooth problem it always start at 5 on a Friday afternoon. Usually on a three day weekend as well. Have a great day. :)

Ouch, that sucks about your hubs tooth, good thing he was able to get in the dentist so quickly though. :)

I'm sure that your coworker was very thankful that you let her go a little early and I'm sure it made you feel good to be able to do that for her. Sometimes there's no avoiding long hours but it's not so bad when someone else notices and either says or does something to make you feel appreciated.

One of these days maybe I'll understand all this WoW stuff but probably not anytime soon!

Oh, Amanda is up to a Level 13 with her troll but all I know is that I keep hearing the sound of pigs being slaughtered while I sit in the living room and she's in the dining room!
