Vacation time is lovely.
As I think I have mentioned already, summer is very much the busy season at my job. Everyone needs lots of hot dogs for cookouts! Plus we've got some new accounts, and one of them is running a promotion, so things are hop hop hopping! And of course everyone wants vacation time in the summer, so I've been very overworked trying to keep up with everything that I need to take care of, plus other peoples' jobs.
Well, this weekend is my turn. I took Thursday and Friday off, which means that I have today off too. Yes, we're working Saturdays right now. A month or so ago we were only working 4 days a week, now we're on 6. I already had Friday scheduled off, but on Tuesday I was feeling very overwhelmed, so I asked for Thursday off as well. It has been very nice to just get up when I'm feeling awake, rather than get dragged out of bed by my alarm clock!
Hubby and I rented a car for the weekend too.. I think we'll be going for a drive later this afternoon too, since it looks sunny and gorgeous out there right now! I'll try to take pictures if I can remember :D

The worst part about time off is that it comes to an end at some point (unless one is lucky enough to be retired) and you have to go back to work! I found that out when I got back from California - ugh!!
