I've got...

a bunch of nothin' LOL!

I have a couple of memes waiting in the wings... I have to send a HUGELY belated shout out to Tisha for nominating me as a Rockin' Girl Blogger... but other than that, all I've got is a huge lack of inspiration.

This past weekend hubby and I went out to the bar (gasp!) with Bob & Sara.. they had Karaoke, and I got to sing the Time Warp, to enormous acclaim.. or something pretty similar. Sara got pretty goofy drunk not long after we sat down, probably due to the Irish Car Bomb she ordered, even though she only drank a little bit of it. A shot of Bailey's floated in a glass of Guiness. I'll probably try one next time I go out :) She also ordered some onion rings, and almost beat Bob up for stealing a bit of batter out of her hand when she wasn't looking. WHERE IS MY CRUNCHIE, SARA??? :)

As for myself, I wasn't really loopy until we left the bar.. then I started shouting MARCO!!!! in the parking lot. It didn't help that Bob kept coming back with POLO!!!!

After that, we headed back to Bob & Sara's for a good old-fashioned game of Mario Party. I started falling asleep in the middle, but it was around 4AM at the time, so I didn't feel too badly about it.

The next day, my parents had the kids (they stayed overnight at Beth's house the night before), so Billy and I got to have a grownup day.. we went out for lunch at Red Robin (ahh, tasty fries), and wandered around the mall (where we felt pretty lost without a stroller!), eventually ending up in the movie theater, where I FINALLY got to see the last Pirates movie. It was pretty meh... except, of course, for all the screen time Orlando Bloom got.. especially at the end *RRRROWR* This time we sat in front of the walkway, so no annoying people could sit behind us and ruin the movie :) Someone still came and sat in our row, even though the place was pretty empty... but they weren't talkers, lucky for them!

That's about all I've been up to lately.. oh, and I finished reading Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince last week. I started the next book on my list, but we also stopped at the bookstore while we were at the mall, and I got the last book in a Mercedes Lackey trilogy that I had been waiting to find in paperback.. so I'm reading that instead, since I haven't read it before. Then it's back to the reading list and King's Dragon, by Kate Elliot!

Here's hoping you all have a happy and safe 4th of July, I don't want to come back on Thursday and find that some of you can't blog because you've lost fingers to fireworks, you hear me?? :)
