tired...

I'm exhausted. I started a blog earlier for my rants and ravings, because I had come across something in my blog travels that brought up something that I thought was over and done with. It made me angry all over again. I'm tired of going from peaceful to angry in 1.364 seconds, tired of my stomach clenching and tying itself in knots from that first rush of emotion, tired of feeling these same feelings that I've been trying to shake off. I'm tired of rehashing the same arguments over and over in my head that flew right over the head of the person they were directed at. I'm done being angry.

I do not and will not regret one word that I said. I feel very strongly that everything I said was true, whether or not the person I said it to acknowledges that. I feel that my loyalties lie exactly where they should, and that is with my own beliefs and convictions about what is right, and what is completely crazy and unforgivably messed-up.

It's times like this when I am so thankful to have the husband that I have. It's a recurring theme around here, how much I love him. I called him today from work to tell him how exhausted I feel, and how dissatisfied I am with my job right now.. and I came home to a nice hot bubble bath, with candles, and some of my favorite comfort foods. He also sent me a sweet email to help cheer me up, and that almost made me cry! I am thankful every day for the miracle that made him mine.

However, unfortunately I'm not with you in having an understanding and caring husband. I wish I was!

I'm so sorry you even had to work on a blog that's just for that...but whatever makes you feel better. I just hate to see you feeling blue.
Please give Billy a big smooch for being so good to you!!! You deserve it.

On a message board, I had seen someone write the line "And in the end, we all got over it", it was just so fitting. Now, when I come into a situation that makes me upset...I try to remember that quote. :)

aw, what a great story!
In a world where sometimes the hurt and anger seem to rise to the top, it's nice to know that there are men out there who can still be full of love.
cheers to both of you!
