MaNiC mOnDaY ~ Green
Yay! Mo picked another color this week, and I'm so happy :D Those who were around when Mo picked Yellow will remember (or if you didn't see it, I linked it for ya!) that I posted about the Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers. Well, this time will be no different! I am again going to concentrate on the first two seasons of the show, as those were the ones I watched the most.
The Green Ranger, named Tommy, was played by Jason David Frank. Besides being the best-looking ranger (insert personal bias here), he had the most interesting story of all the rangers. He came in partway through the first season, and was actually an evil ranger at the time. He was put under a spell by the villain of season one, Rita Repulsa. He also had the coolest Zord, the Dragonzord (are you seeing why I like him the best yet?), which was as big as the Megazord (which was a robot made up of the five good rangers' zords, kind of like Voltron). He was eventually able to overcome the spell, with the help of the red ranger, and joined the team of good rangers.
However, since his ranger powers came from evil, they were susceptible to evil, and Rita was eventually able to take them from him. This was a sad day for the rangers, especially Kimberly, who had a bit of a flirtation going on with Tommy (lucky b... never mind). He manages to recover his powers a few times over the rest of the season, but never permanently. It isn't until the second season that he is able to become a Power Ranger completely again. Zordon created the White Ranger, and Tommy later assumed that role. The zord of the White Ranger was a white tiger, and was controlled by a sword with a tiger's head on the handle. It could talk, and was named Saba.
Tommy is the only character that I know of that comes back several times in the course of the whole Power Rangers series. He is part of Power Rangers Zeo as the Red Ranger, and of the Dinoforce season as the Black Ranger. He was also in both of the Power Rangers movies.

I love your fantasy based mind...you remind me much of myself. *hugs*
I don't watch TV so I haven't a clue here, but I'm sure it's great. Happy MM with Mo :)
You did a great job on this one!!
Hey, he's pretty cute! I should have paid more attention to those Power Rangers when my brother watched them!
That certainly is a unique take on Green, there Miss Asara!
Who knew the Power Rangers had such depth... or were so cute?!?
Power Rangers --> my kids didn't much get with the Power Rangers. Although they did fall in love with the Mutant Ninja Turtles... which coulda been a GREEN topic as well!
peace, Villager
Now we know what to expect when Mo posts black, pink, and blue LOL!
Asara, you need help! ;)
Let me just say what I said the first time. I haven't a clue who this is because I don't watch television. I must say he is good looking though. :)
