A question for you...
O my loyal readers!
Since everyone seems to be coming down with something these days, and I have recent personal experience with this issue, I will ask you what you think. Say you're out to eat at a fast food restaurant, and your kids' dinner doesn't agree with him. He doesn't make it to the bathroom before it comes back up. Do you..
A. Tell one of the cashiers and offer to help clean it up
B. Tell one of the cashiers on your way out the door
C. Leave it for them to find and don't tell anyone
Let the debate begin! :)
15 fellow footsteps:
I say, make a bolt for the door before any one notices. They'll find it eventually =)
D. Clean up what you can quickly then run for the door ;)
I have done A - Tell one of the cashiers and offer to help. They never make you though - they make someone else - thank goodness.
I use to babysit a boy when I was at home with my kids. Anyways, this kid threw up everywhere. I hated it but I always offered to clean it up. Luckily most of the time he just did it in his dish. Freaky kid.
I had this happen in the grocery store. Thank goodness it was basically only the milk my son drank, so it wasn't as vile as it could have been.
I was trying to clean it up on my own since I didn't want to offend the other shoppers and the store conveniently had paper towels nearby. It's was a really helpful store though, not long after I started one of the workers came and helped me clean the rest of it up.
That's motherhood.
I think I would tell someone after it happened. I don't know what it is, but it seems babies like to do this to me when I hold them. It doesn't bother me much though. They are just so much of a joy to hold.
None of the above, sorry - it was your kid - just clean it up.
I'd probably go ask for a mop or something to clean it up with and hope to God that they refuse to let me and send someone out to do it. But I'd take care of it if they handed over the mop (which I'm thinking they wouldn't do because of liability issues with letting a customer clean or being sued if someone slips on it or something).
Either way, I'd apologize repeatedly and profusely.
hmmm, i seem to be outnumbered here lol!
I'd clean...
Want to see some “real” flower power?
thankfully.. I am too old for this to happen to!!
It depends. If, upon seeing the vomit come out of your child, you vomit on top of it, then you should clean it up.
Otherwise, make the kid do it.
I've been there! It was all over the table and dripping on the floor. And since it seemed more was coming, we did not offer to stick around and help. But we did leave a BIG tip!
I'd clean. But then I don't have kids so it's easy for me to say that. :-) Congratulations on the award!
It depends on the fast food restaurant. My greatest fear is that McDonalds would scoop it up, paste a "Mc" on the container, and try to market it as some sort of pre-eaten dish.
Stewart-
Don't you know where the Big Mac special sauce comes from?? ;)
