Awww, shucks!

I screwed something up at work yesterday. The VP of R&D was running a test, and I shared some wrong information with some of the people involved in it. They listened to me, and not their supervisor, and it -almost- got ruined. The VP was blaming their supervisor, and I sent him an email saying it was at least partly my fault, as I had given them the wrong directions. I apologized, and said I'd pay better attention in the future, so it wouldn't happen again.

I just got an email back from him.. it just said "One mistake a year ain't bad".

I had no idea people thought I was doing so well! *blush* That email just made my day. :)

It's your honesty that was so appreciated. Most folks won't own up to any involvement in a wrong doing. Good for you. Have a great day. :)

At last! Someone took responsibility for their own actions and it turned out well! Yay for your honesty and yay for being recognized for doing such a good job!
