Weekend recap time!

Saturday hubby and I played WoW a bit, me on my paladin, and him on his tree druid. He has leveled up that little tree all the way from level 40 very very quickly. Saraabi dinged 67, and Lumae dinged 65. Very productive day. We also tried to go get our son his school uniform shirts. We left around 2:45 in the afternoon, thinking we'd have plenty of time. We get to the store around 3:15-3:30 and it's CLOSED. Apparently they close at 3PM on Saturday. Who knew? So we'll have to do that some time this week, as they're open until 6PM on weekdays. Sigh. So we went out to lunch/dinner at Culver's and headed back home.

School starts in just two weeks! The day after Labor Day. And of course The Whistler has vacation that day. So I won't be able to take the whole day off, but I'm hoping my boss will let me come in late at least so I can be there to see my little boy off. My boss is usually pretty nice about things like that, so I don't think it will be a problem.

Sunday was a lazy day at our house. I spent an hour or two working on leveling up a new kitty pet for Asara. When she got her Wintersaber mount, I decided to tame a cat with the same skin, so they would match. I grabbed a level 60 Pride Watcher, and named it IcyHot. See, because it's blue normally (Icy), but when I hit Beast Within, it turns red (Hot). Yeah, hubby rolled his eyes at me too. It's ok. She's now level 65. I've been farming Primal Air out in Shadowmoon to level her up, and so far I've gotten 5. Not too shabby, even though I don't really have anything to use them for. I'll probably try to sell them.. depending on the market, that could be 100-150 gold.

After that, I spent most of the rest of the day watching TV. There were a few good movies on, and we watched a couple of shows on the History channel that were pretty interesting. Then it was off to bed, and some very strange dreams that woke me up three or four times during the night. Sigh. Thankfully I don't feel overly tired tonight, just a little bit sleepy.

Last but not least, the word for Manic Monday this week is Wax. I wanted to put up a video from the 40-Year-Old Virgin, when Steve Carell gets his chest waxed. But I tell you what.. don't ever go to YouTube looking for that video. There are WAY too many videos of grown men acting like babies trying to emulate Steve Carell's performance. Not worth it. Ick.
