Comments from the Coworker
Since I spend a lot of time in the lab at my computer, the lab tech has taken this to mean that I am his new best friend, and completely interested in everything he has to say. He also has a mild case of dysfunction in his brain-to-mouth filter. Just out of absolutely nowhere (I mean, nobody had said anything for a good 20 minutes, the radio was playing music, not talking about news or anything), he says this:
"Yeah, that guy [name removed] from maintenance, he's a real radical (something about military anti-government beliefs that I can't exactly remember even though this happened less than 5 minutes ago). That's just how he is."
No more conversation was made on the subject, he continued on with his work, and I sat here and blinked a couple of times trying to figure out where in the heck that came from. I'm still not sure.
4 fellow footsteps:
Maybe he was doing what I'm guilty of doing..
I'll be sitting there running thoughts through my head then some words will just fall out of my mouth. Mike will look at me like HUH???
You know what I mean, right? Right? :)
Yep, sounds like brain-to-mouth filter malfunction to me!
I found this and wanted to share it with you.
