It's a brand new year!

Last night we hung out with my sister-in-law and all of hubby's family for New Year's. There was a lot of food, a lot of fun, and a LOT of quoting of Drop Dead Gorgeous. (Which is an awesome movie by the way. If you haven't seen it, I highly recommend it!) And somewhere in the middle of it all was the tiniest baby I have ever personally seen in my life. And I got to hold her! Sorry to have no pictures, but as usual, we left the camera at home. Oops. My kids were huge when they were born. My son was 10 lbs., 12 oz., and my daughter was 9 lbs., 10 oz. Addy was 5 lbs., 1 oz. when she was born. Half the size of my Andy. And boy does she look it. I can't even begin to explain.. well, here, Skittles has pictures of her that Beth took. For reference, those are Beth's hands. So maybe that gives a little perspective about just how small she really is.

I don't really do New Year's Resolutions. There are many things I'd like to accomplish this year, but I don't see the point in making them official.. it's just that much more disappointing if I don't manage to do them, you know? I am going to try to blog more, and lose some weight, and really just all-around try to improve myself. Work on my temper for one.. and how frustrated I can get at people at work. I got a book for Christmas that I've been wanting to help with that.

So here's to a whole new set of days, another whole new year, I hope everyone has a great one!

I don't do resolutions either. I never complete them.

Sounds like you had a great time on NYE and that's a great thing. We went to bed at 9:30, but that's what happens when you get old(er). I feel wonderful this morning too. No hangover.

Have a great New Year Carrie. I hope all your wishes come true. :)

Sounds like you had a great time. I played Rock Band/Guitar Hero with the girls after I got home from work with a slight pause at midnight to acknowledge the new year.

I'm with you on the try to lose weight but I might actually blog less in order to fit in time for exercise. Nothing definite yet - just something I'm kicking around a bit.

Happy 2008!
