ZzZzZzzzzz....

Man I am sleepy today. I went to bed around 11:30, then I figured I'd read for half an hour, which turned into an hour and a half because it was a new book, and I got caught up in the story. (Thanks for the book, SQT, lol!!) About the time I was going to actually try to fall asleep, I hear my son shrieking in the other room. By the time I got out of bed to see what was going on, my hubby was there, holding him as he threw up. I didn't know a boy that small could hold so much. When he was done, I cleaned him, and hubby cleaned the floor. I went back to bed once he was in some clean pajamas and set up on the sofa in the living room.

A couple of hours later, I'm woken up by hubby coming to bed. He says there have been three more "aftershocks" in the vomit department, and if there are any more, it's my turn to deal with them. I can't begrudge him that, he cleaned the floor and all I had to do was plunk the kid in the tub. About once an hour for the next three hours, including five minutes after my alarm went off for work, he was back in the bathroom with dry heaves. Poor little guy. I'm guessing it's the flu, even though nobody we know has been sick lately. Hopefully it's just a 24-hour one. I'll be calling home in the next hour or so to see how things are going, and if he's still having dry heaves, it'll be off to the doctor.

Early bedtimes for everyone tonight!

Well, I remember these nights while raising my son. If it wasn't that I was in the emergency room for half the night when he crashed his bicycle. Such fun times. NOT. Have a great day and get to bed early tonight. :)

Aw, poor little guy. I hope he's feeling better now. AND that you and B are getting rest too!

Oh yeah...the good ol' days, the lack of sleep and fear of catching whatever ails 'em.
Moms and dads deserve medals for nighttime hurling!

I'm glad to hear you're liking the book, though I'm not happy to hear your little dude isn't feeling well. I hate it when the kids are sick.
