Such a sweetheart!

Today and tomorrow I have to cover someone's shift who is on vacation. As you can see from the time stamp on this post, it's really frickin' early in the morning! I usually get up at 6 to get to work by 7, today and tomorrow I will have to be at work by 3:30. The upside is that I may end up getting done early, the downside is that I have to be in bed and asleep by 8:30 to be something resembling human the next day. I usually don't go to bed until around 11, so this can be very difficult for me.

Last night my most wonderful hubby helped me get to sleep. He turned off my computer on me and made me go to bed, when I probably would have spent another hour playing Canasta on Pogo. Then he tucked me in and made sure I was nice and cozy warm, because that helps me sleep. The best part was what I heard as I drifted off. He sat on the couch with the kids and watched tv with them, to help keep them quiet. There's nothing like the sounds of a happy, contented family to reassure you that all is right with the world.
