A Wonderful Friend

I wanted to take a few minutes here to say Happy Birthday and many Congratulations to one of my best blogging friends, Mags, of Ms. Maggie Moo Talks To U. Mags has been studying to be a chef, and just this week finally finished culinary school! If you've been reading her blog, you know that she can do some amazing things with food. I can't stop by there without getting hungry, and today is no exception. Her final task for school was for the class to prepare and serve a dinner to their family and friends, and I tell you what, it looks like it was AMAZING. Not to mention that one of the things I think is essential to being a chef is the ability to take things that most people would not think of and be able to make something delicious out of them. Mags has been doing this once a week with the help of her readers, who choose items for her to cook. I would be honored to be served by this lady, she definitely has a knack for creating!

Besides being an amazing chef, Mags is also an amazing friend. She is one of those people who is always encouraging, and always upbeat, no matter how tired she is from everything she does in the course of her day. She's got an offbeat sense of humor to match mine, and really, she's just wicked cool.

My hat goes off to you Mags, as you venture out into the world of cuisine.. I think I hear a restaurant downtown calling your name!! ;) J/K, I'm sure there are much more glamorous places than here that would be doing themselves a disservice if they didn't want to have you on their staff.
