Holy Waste of Time, Batman!
I was goofing around today with some quizzes, and I saw one asking "How Emo are You?" I thought.. why not. I clicked through the answers pretty quickly, and hit submit, only to be assaulted by a seemingly endless list of offers. I clicked no on each one, and hit submit on the bottom, and was assaulted again, this time by a pop-up that said I had to click yes on at least one to continue. Sigh, Fine. I clicked No on the ad that came up for that offer, and Submit.. and.. what?? Another list of offers!!!! omg. Fine!! No, No, No, No... blah blah blah...
I didn't count, but I must have gone through ten or more pages of ads and lists of things that people must really want me to have. Just to find out..
I'm 10% Emo. There was a little paragraph about being 10% Emo too, but at this point I just wanted the number and to get the heck out of there.
At least I didn't get any pop-ups when I closed the frickin' window.
Geez.
8 fellow footsteps:
Double ugh. I hate when that happens!!
Ohhh you got caught in pop-up hell!
My goodness I have been to that land before and it was horrid. I usually find them in this form. Win $100 shopping spree at Macy's Gads Girl glad you were able to come out the other end.
Had you really wanted to know if you were Emo, I probably could have had Amanda tell you minus all the ads!
I was going to try that quiz once but after the first two ads I said to tell with it. I am NOT Emo enough to want to suffer through that stuff!
LOL Linda!!!!!
They should have given me extra points for that then!
i think i've developed a phobia of clicking any type of ad or survey when i'm online because of the pop-ups that usually follow.
hate it.
Well I'm guessing I'd be even less than 10% Emo..... since I had to google it to see what the heck it meant!
Ugh. I am so old!
as cute as Emo is I woulda been gone by the second ad!
