Thursday Thirteen

Thirteen things I did in Las Vegas 4 years ago

  1. Spent 2 hours trying to find the place to get a marriage license
  2. Stayed at the Silverado Hotel and Casino
  3. Had the best breakfast buffet ever at the Sunset Hotel and Casino
  4. Saw one of the white tigers from the Sigfried and Roy show at the Mirage
  5. Took a tour of Hoover Dam
  6. Bought a tin of "Dam Mints" at the gift shop
  7. Shopped at M&M World and gawked at the wall of M&M's
  8. Wandered around in the MGM Grand casino, looking for a buffet that didn't exist :(
  9. Played $5 minimum blackjack with $20, and lost it in 4 hands
  10. Shook my head over the small collection of call girl cards that were given to Billy as we walked up and down the strip
  11. Lost the hat I bought at M&M World because I was sticking my head out of the car window to take a picture of a Hummer on the highway
  12. Rode in a limousine for the first time in my life
  13. And last but not least, GOT MARRIED! :)

Happy Anniversary! I'm not sure you can drive over Hoover Dam now due to security reasons. We drove over it about 2 years ago and M&M World was AWESOME!!! I'm an M&M girl and I LOVED that place. Did you go to Mandalay Bay and their aquarium?

My 13 are up.

Happy Anniversary! I was in Vegas four years ago at this time, too! I didn't get married, but I did lose at the blackjack tables and shook my head at the call girl cards, too!!! What is up with that?

Great list! Happy TT-Jessica

Sounds like a pretty exciting time. I'm not one for all the glitz and glamor, but I'm glad you enjoyed it. Great wedding memories, anyway!
