Yep, she's a girl!

This past Saturday, as I mentioned earlier, was my daughter's first birthday. Skittles stopped by and took a lot of pictures! They're probably a page back on her blog by now :) On Sunday we went over to my mom's house for lunch and cake and presents. They had a big bag of stuff for Emily, and a little bag for Andy (to stave off the green monster, and it worked!). Emily got some clothes, including an adorable little blue velvet dress, and her first pair of shoes, black patent leather. She also got a package of Peek-a-blocks, the ones with little pegs sticking out of each end so that they can be stacked like Legos. And out of all that, the thing she kept going back and getting was the shoes! That's my girl! (Clipart courtesy of Fotosearch)

Happy belated birthday to the birthday girl. I saw the pics on Skittles site. I see you have Anne McCaffrey listed on your sidebar...I loved her Dragon books years ago, its been awhile since I read them, but I used to love them. Just thought I'd step out from the shadows of lurking and let you know I visit here, of course coming from Skittles. :)

that's a girl! shoe's are the best. My little girl is such a girlie girl and I have no idea how she got that way. I'm NOT at all. She loves purses, dresses, makeup, shoes.

Happy Birthday!

And this is how the shoe-addiction started... LOL

I´d love to see a picture of her in the little blue velvet dress =)

One of my older cousin's has three kids, two boys and a girl (the girl being the youngest). From the time the little girl was two, she'd tell my cousin what she would and wouldn't wear. At age two!
